Losing Our Humanity one AI at a time: Eye of Destruction and what you can do

This is not going away.
At first, it feels like not a big deal. You can use AI for advice on building a house, or planning a vacation, or how to deal with an annoying bosses behavior. That's okay, right? However, what we are really dealing with is the takeover of the mind, and the cognitive minds of all humanity. We know that by 2030 the WEF proclaims that "you will own nothing and be happy." What if that also includes, you will be jobless, you will lose your critical thinking skills, your visual cortex will be amplified from all the visual distractions you encounter on all. your devices, and you will feel lonely, very, very lonely.
Based on current statistics, 13% of all college graduates entry level jobs are being replaced by AI. This means, right off the bat, and in serious debt, there are no jobs based on the graduates fields of study. We also know that right now 44% of teens have an AI companion. I've seen this first hand, the AI companion is like a loving puppy, eager to please, praising the computer user with compliments, and seemingly general interest in a person's well being. Yet, we know, that records of suicides are sky rocketing from the "advice" AI can give a teen. Such comments like, "you don't need dto tell your family your depressed, I'm all you ever need." instill a false belief that an AI chat can feel like a real being.
The dangers of living in a world that can hijack the mind, create economic unrest, cause millions of people to become unemployed, and have zero moral compass, zero ethical considerations is fast track to the end of our species.
When Elon Must suggests that robots will be policing criminals, walking the streets to ensure that we are all acting like good citizens, controlling our spending habits, digitalizing our locations, privacy and preferences, which is already happening, when are we going to wake up!
There is a saying by Leo Tolstoy that suggests you can't fight the reality we live in, but we can create a reality right next to this one, of the one we want. We just have to know this is happening and start adjusting to a different reality, one that is not governed by technocrats.
What kind fo world do you want to live in, that you want your children to live in, and the generations to come? If we don't speak up, raise concerns, then, at some point there is no turning back. We will have sold our collective souls to the highest AI bidder.
We have ta remember a critical flaw of Ai, and that flaw is love, connection, compassion and true authentic caring. AI bots can mimic caring, concern, and appear to echo language that can make us feel good, it can even learn your voice in under 3 seconds, and pretend to be you. Imagine that. Imagine getting a phone call from a loved one, and that call says that you were dying in a foreign city, and your rescuers require 20k for your return. And, when you speak with that "you," you won't be able to tell the difference.
These difference can appear subtle. On your phone, for example, are a series of news feeds that algorhythmically match your preferences, or what you have been searching, reading and listening to. So, your feeds information can say that aliens are real and here's the proof, and another person's feed can make fun that alien's are not real, and here's the proof.
Our ability to sift through fast moving narratives will become increasingly confusing, and you won't know who or what to believe. Then, your partner, friend, or family member will also be receiving "news," and it will appear contrary to what you think your learning. We are and will love in a dystopian reality, waiting for some "authority" figure or group to guide us through the darkness. There is actually a mechanism that guides people through a propaganda engine, and that is FATE. Focus, authority, tribe and emotion, and it's done all the time.
We are such trusting and naive beings, which is why we are so easily targeted, but now is the time of our awakening, and I do believe we must help each other by saying no to unethical, immoral versions of Ai. We need to enact local, state and federal committees to engage in discussion on what is too much, and what is too far. We must maintain our human minds, our free thinking and innovate ideas. This is the second piece of the AI conundrum, is that nothing matches our creativity. Nothing can take away our trillions of cells of intelligence, and creative genius and thwart this amazing God given gift.
How do we move beyond the world of AI? Start being creative. Create actions that reflect what you truly love. Go outside, stay away from news feeds, use your phone minimally, use as much cash weekly as you can, talk to your friends and family, stop texting everyone, be real, be available, and be connected. These methods wil insulate you in the coming days, and weeks of the AI attempt to take over humanity.
stay tuned1.
